Annual Sports Day 2024: A Grand Success

The much-awaited Annual Sports Day 2024 was held on February 15th at our school grounds. The event was a grand celebration of physical fitness, competitive spirit, and camaraderie among students.

Event Highlights

The day began with a colorful march past by all four houses - Bhai Gurdas, Bhai Nand Lal, Bhai Mani Singh, and Bhai Kanhaiya. The parade was followed by the lighting of the sports torch and the oath-taking ceremony.

Track Events

The track events witnessed fierce competition across various age categories:

  • 100m Sprint
  • 200m Race
  • 400m Race
  • 4x100m Relay
  • 800m Long Distance

Field Events

Students also participated in various field events including:

  • Long Jump
  • High Jump
  • Shot Put
  • Discus Throw
  • Javelin Throw

House Results

After an exciting day of competition, here are the final standings:

  1. 🥇 Bhai Gurdas House - 245 points
  2. 🥈 Bhai Kanhaiya House - 228 points
  3. 🥉 Bhai Nand Lal House - 215 points
  4. Bhai Mani Singh House - 198 points

Individual Champions

Junior Category

  • Best Athlete (Boys): Arjun Singh - Class VII
  • Best Athlete (Girls): Priya Kaur - Class VI

Senior Category

  • Best Athlete (Boys): Gurpreet Singh - Class XI
  • Best Athlete (Girls): Simran Kaur - Class X

Special Mentions

The event also featured special performances:

  • Yoga Demonstration by Class VIII students
  • Mass PT Display by the entire middle school
  • Aerobics Performance by the girls' team
